Hey! Yeah! I am back!

After all this long period of ignoring my blog, I feel like I have something to say again.
My blog was first created to keep my family and friends back in Brazil updated on what was going on in my life here in the USA, the first posts were mainly in Brazilian Portuguese, but that changed with time and I even tried to post in both English and Portuguese but that seemed like too much work ;-), now thanks to St. Google, you can even translate the page you are reading, without me having to do twice the work.

But what I wanted to say is that I made a decision, actually, I came back to my senses and could see things clearly again and decided to move back to Brazil. Things here didn't work out as I was hoping, but I was still hoping that they would...maybe fall from the sky right on my lap, but we all know life doesn't work that way.

I went to a seminar about Dreamweaver (Adobe's software to design web pages), which I used to work with in Brazil 5 years ago. So, it was an update (a very good one), but for my surprise, the seminar had another meaning for me...it was a wake-up call. I realized that that's what I love, that's what drives me, creating, being involved in projects that need my brain in full speed...I wasn't born to do what I've been doing here for the last few years.

Learned a lot, no regrets (trully, I live my life with no regrets) and I think it's time to go back. If I am gonna be able to re-adapt to the life in Brazil I am not so sure, but it means that I will be free to come and go as I please and probably will be able to do some of day dream trips (like UK, Norway, Belgium, Italy, Germany...and so on...hahaha).

So I am giving myself a year to sort my life out here, save money and then I will go back. Until then I have time to plan things and leave some unplanned and see what life brings.

I haven't posted any pics lately because my iPhone died (fried in Washington's heat wave couple weeks ago) and I still have to buy one...and my camera I gave to my mom when she was visiting last month...so, sorry if this looks a little blah.

I will write more soon...now gonna finish my dinner (broiled salmon with sweet potato fries). yummm!
